An oil change is a quick maintenance procedure, but its importance can’t be overstated. Here are just some reasons it’s important to change your oil:

Lubrication: Your engine’s parts work together seamlessly to create the wonderful drive you enjoy every day. However, without proper lubrication they can wear down quickly, creating more serious problems down the line.

Cooling: Without oil, the heat from the engine’s friction has nowhere to go. Clean oil does a better job at absorbing the heat to prevent your engine from overheating.

Cleaning: Fresh oil is better at picking up dust particles and grime that can wear down your engine over time. It’s crucial to regularly replace the oil and filter so that your engine stays clean!

Our service center recommends that you change your oil every 5,000 miles, but this may change depending on your INFINITI model and regular driving conditions. Be sure to check your owner’s manual for specific information.
