BMW Charging Station*
Offered exclusively at BMW Centers, with the added convenience of available financing*, the BMW Charging Station provides convenience and peace of mind, so you can wake up each day to a fully charged battery. Charging is simple: just plug in and charging begins immediately. Designed to complement your BMW eDrive or BMW i vehicle, this wall-mounted charging station reduces charging time for the BMW i3 to approximately 3.5 hours (7kW at 240v), and under 3 hours for BMW eDrive vehicles (approx. 2 hours, 45 minutes for the X5 eDrive; approx. 2 hours, 20 minutes for the 3 Series eDrive (available 2016) and approx. 2 hours, 40 minutes for the 7 Series eDrive (available 2016)). You can also use the provided Occasional Use Cable (OUC) to top off your battery by plugging into any 120-volt dedicated (standard household) outlet. Using the OUC, the BMW i3 reaches a full charge in around 20 hours.

BMW Installation Services offer a streamlined approach to the installation of the BMW Charging Station at your home. BMW i and iPerformance customers are connected with qualified installers nearby to ensure a seamless installation experience – beginning with a no cost, no obligation quote. For a more enjoyable e-mobility experience, schedule installation of the home charger to occur prior to vehicle delivery. Once installation is complete, simply plug in and go.
